1Data We Collect

None. The app has no backend, so there is no upload path at all.

Item names, prices, categories, links, the reason you wrote down, cooling-off timings and your decisions are all stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData. We cannot see any of it.

2Clipboard

The app checks whether your clipboard contains a web link, using the system's UIPasteboard.detectPatterns API. That check answers yes or no and does not read the content.

The clipboard is only actually read when you tap the paste button yourself. What is read is used locally to prefill the item, and is never transmitted.

3Notifications

Cooling-off reminders are local notifications scheduled by your own device. No server is involved. We do not know whether you received or opened them. Notification permission is entirely optional; the app works fully without it.

4iCloud Sync

Not enabled in this version. If added later, data will sync through your own iCloud private database, which the developer cannot access. It will be opt-in.

5No Third Parties

No analytics, no ads, no IDFA, no crash reporting, no tracking of any kind (NSPrivacyTracking = false). The bundled Source Han Serif subset (SIL Open Font License 1.1) is a static asset and makes no network requests.

6Your Data, Your Control

Export everything to CSV from Settings, delete individual items from their detail page, or delete the app to remove all data. We hold no copy.

7Children

XianBieMai is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their information — it collects no one's information.
